September Community Awareness Night
This Month's Topic:
Food has a way of bringing people together; demonstrating love and friendship. Food sustains and nourishes. It is essential to our physical, emotional and economic well-being.
So, what does this mean for the thousands of persons — one in seven Americans — with no reliable source of food in their lives? For the one in five children who are food insecure in West Michigan? What does it say about the overall health of our community when 13% of the total population in Kent County is food insecure?
We hope you will join us for this important conversation.
This event is brought to you in partnership with Crowe Horwath.
